It's only a three days before Laracon EU will kick off and I've never been at one. While for many people this might not be a big thing I've been within the Laravel community since 2011.
It is the framework that I "grew up" with, the framework and community that gave me the opportunities to grow, to make mistakes, to fall down but even more important to get back up and enjoy it all.
All communities have amazing people in them but as Kap talked about in her talk at Laracon US some communities feel like villages and make you proud. They welcome people in, celebrate each other successes and help out when things get tough. This year at Laracon a few of the people I look up at the most will bere there.
So what am I looking forward to the most? Actually connecting with the people I look up to. Listening to the well prepared talks from the speakers and really wanting to have an amazing time. All of this wouldn't have been possible without my fiancé's support, which is really the reason I can even be here.
Me writing this post and sharing all of this comes from the most influential person I look up to. So thank you Aaron, your positive outlook and the way you inspire a lot of people is infectious in the best possible way.
